Everyone Wins This Jackpot!
Of course as many of you know, Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up for us here next week and I love that week! In a past school, we would get carnations from the PTO, and at another, we would get a special catered lunch. It always made us feel like rock stars, even if only a week out of the year. What types of events does your school host?
I think teaching is one of the greatest professions in the world! Teaching the next generation how to read, write, tie their shoes, work with others in a civil manner, or fill out a job application is a HUGE responsibility. These kids will be our doctors, attorneys, or next Presidents (whether we believe it or not right now). Whether the students and parents take time out to thank you, I want to be one who says thanks. For all you do (which I know from personal experience is a LOT).
One way to say thanks is by giving you a gift. :) Yay - I don't know about you, but I know I love gifts!
